Promesa Educativa para México, A.C. was born in 2011 with the mission of effectively implementing educational, creative, permanent, high impact and coverage programs from civil society that support the integral development of children and young people in vulnerable situations.
We began with the implementation of the musical education program Se’Wá (flourish in Rarámuri) that gives girls, boys and adolescents between 6 and 18 years of age the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument, in addition to acquiring all the benefits that this artistic practice generates. Currently, we serve 1000 students by lending them musical instruments and offering them music classes taught by professionals in vulnerable or priority areas.
In 2013 we began a second program: Colegio Riberas, an extended-hours elementary school with a social sense in Colonia Riberas de Sacramento, currently serving 365 girls and boys. Our goal is to ensure that each of the students reaches the university, oriented both to the academic formation of excellence, as well as to the formation of character.
Thanks to the results shown at the Riberas School, in 2016 Fundación Alsuper decided to replicate this model with the opening of another school belonging to the SER network, the Colegio Alsuperarte. This School is located in an area considered a priority also to the north of the city and is part of another of the Promesa Educativa programs.
In 2019, the first generation 2025 completed primary education, giving way to the beginning of the secondary level at Colegio Riberas, 120 students continued to prepare on the way to university.
Finally, in 2018 Deportivo Lobos was born, it was born out of the need to open a sports program to the entire community within which various activities and sports classes can be offered for all tastes, ages and preferences, which seek that the community is actively participatory and thus improve their physical, emotional and family condition.
In Promesa Educativa para México, A.C. We believe that the sum of efforts is essential to achieve the objectives of our programs, which is why we work through collaborative alliances with civil associations, different levels of government and private initiative.
